Jinesh is a 4 x Alt Protein Founder, 1 x Angel Investor & YCombinator Alum on a life mission to accelerate the alternative protein & materials industry.

He first worked on Wall Street focused on Energy distribution, then in Silicon Valley managing data science platforms,

before shifting focus to building a better future of food through entrepreneurship.

Jinesh holds an MS in Computer Science & Math Finance from New York University. He has personally raised millions in funding from top-tier VCs & Angels like Khosla Ventures, Pear VC & Jason Kidd (NBA) for his startup Mylk Guys, & for several other startups & funds too.

Jinesh has independently collaborated with founders at Eat JUST, Good Dot, Good Food Institute India, & advised/mentored 40+ alt protein startups & 100+ tech startups across 6 continents through leading accelerators such as YC, Alchemist(Enterprise Tech), Startup Farm(Brazil) & beyond.

He regularly judges startup showcases, speaks on industry panels & has been interviewed alongside leading global climate-tech entrepreneurs on the “In Good Hands” podcast series.

He is one of 30 Alternative Protein industry leaders to contribute to the world's 1st ever "The Asia Alternative Protein Report", a comprehensive, 114-page overview published in 2020.

Outside of work, Jinesh is an amateur guitarist & singer, has played national collegiate basketball in India, is an avid runner & an irregular kiteboarder. A minimalist, all his possessions fit in a small backpack & suitcase since 3 years now. In his teens, he did several short stints adopting Jain monkhood (think Buddhist monk), observed a water fast for 8 days straight & claims to have sold

the 1st few digital cameras ever in India made by the Eastman Kodak Company.
